Sian & Pete…at The Clandeboye Lodge

This beautiful couple had an intimate wedding in the Blackwood Suite followed by such a lovely relaxed afternoon.  Champagne in tea cups, a beautiful cake made by the groom’s sister and dramatic fire juggling in the evening were just a few of the highlights!  Everyone seemed to have a fantastic day and I was chuffed to be a part of it all.

Steph & Chris in the fields of Dungannon…

We got lucky with the sunshine bringing out the golden barley and Steph’s lovely golden locks!  I had such a good evening with this pair who didn’t mind me getting them to climb fences, traipse through fields and negotiate some rocky walls!  I think it was worth it!

Colour vs Black & White

I’m editing away here and there is the constant battle between vibrant colour or dramatic black and white.  I know everyone has their preferences, I love black and white for portraits but when nature features it somehow seems rude to block out its colours!

Claire & Jonny, Clandeboye Lodge

Well this summer sunshine is a real treat and when it comes to photographing weddings in Northern Ireland it is rare!  Claire and Jonny got a scorcher.  I photographed Claire’s brother’s wedding a couple of years ago so it was great to see Andrew and Amy again and share in another big family occasion.

We started down in Killinchy for the service and then had a couple of stops at Kiltonga Duck Pond and Crawfordsburn Country Park to make the most of the sunshine!

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the photos, I’m still working on them so I’ll add a few more next week.
