Clare & Jeremy tie the knot…

I love weddings but they’re even more special when you know the people involved.  I’ve known Clare for a couple of years now, our paths crossed through running Guide units and organising international camps.  I was delighted to be asked to photograph her wedding and even more chuffed when I met Jeremy, they are a lovely couple, just right for each other and despite hating cameras they relaxed and enjoyed having their photos taken on the day itself.  Here’s a wee selection of their photos from the gorgeous St Finian’s Church and Crawfordsburn…

Ross & Ruth…loved up in Mount Stewart

Saturday has come around and what better way to spend it than dandering round one of my favourite National Trust properties, Mount Stewart.  Ross and Ruth have been engaged for a few months now but the excitement definitely hasn’t worn off!  This gorgeous pair needed very little direction as they are so loved up it shines through in the photos!

Christine & Richard at the Cultra Manor & Folk Museum…

Earlier this year I photographed Richard’s sister Clare’s wedding in Ballydugan Mill so it was really lovely to meet up with this fantastic family again and join in the celebration of Richard and Christine’s big day.  Once again the service was in the simply beautiful Rademon Church in Crossgar and then we all headed to the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum and the Cultra Manor to start the celebrations.

I love the variety of the museum with its thatched cottages, cobbled streets and old shop fronts, it’s a photographer’s paradise!  Here’s a collection of some of the shots taken on the day.  I’m looking forward to working on these some more this week…
